PaSNAPsco Photo Contest Highlights the Nature and Heritage of the Patapsco River
Winners to be Unveiled at Upcoming Event
ELLICOTT CITY, MARYLAND – Patapsco Heritage Greenway’s PaSNAPsco photo contest was larger than ever, with nearly sixty entries across twenty-two contestants. Participants created exceptional photographs of sites around the Patapsco Valley Heritage Area, emphasizing the region’s beautiful nature and rich history. Despite receiving an outstanding array of entries, PHG has managed to choose winners in each of the contest’s five categories.

The winners of the PaSNAPsco photo contest will be unveiled on November 20 at 6:30 at Atwater’s in Catonsville. Winning photographs will be published in PHG’s yearly calendar, available at the opening and after for free through PHG. These calendars not only show off the beauty of the Patapsco River Valley through the winning photos, they also mark historically significant dates in the valley. The winning photos will then remain on display on the second floor of Atwater’s from November 20th through January 22nd, located at 815 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228.

All photos were taken within the boundaries of the Patapsco Valley Heritage Area.
The contest was sponsored by the Rogers Family of Ellicott City and made possible through a grant from the Maryland Heritage Area Authority
