Camping
Patapsco Valley State Park is a camping mecca, with many picturesque areas to camp on within its 14,000 acres (5,700 ha) of land.
Soak in the incredible view of the historic Thomas Viaduct, the world’s longest multiple-arched stone railroad bridge, located in the park’s Avalon Area, or walk across the 300-foot suspension swinging bridge in the Orange Grove Area. There’s a sight to behold and a place to camp for all individuals in Maryland’s first state park.
