Patapsco Heritage Greenway welcomes Jennifer Duvall, a Chesapeake Conservation Corps Intern, who will be with us for the next year! Jennifer will be helping us with our environmental programs, including group stewardship events, the Stream Watch program, and our pilot pet waste program, while also developing and leading her own projects. Continue reading for an introduction from Jennifer herself:

“Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer Duvall, and I am thrilled to begin interning for Patapsco Heritage Greenway this year. I recently graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science & Geography. While a student at UMBC, I worked as a forest technician where I studied urban forest growth and dynamics. Through that work I discovered my love for ecology, field work, and environmental issues. After graduating, I began working for the Baltimore Ecosystem Study where I researched different plant species in residential yards of Baltimore City. Moving forward, I am excited to be a part of the Patapsco Heritage Greenway community and continue sharing my passion for environmental science.”
